Been experimenting some with the effects of color on link clickthroughs, but don’t have enough data yet to draw any conclusions. Everyone I’ve talked to seems convinced that nothing is going to beat blue links on a white background, but I’m waiting to be convinced.

Have you ever taken one of those color tests that tell you what sort of personality you are based on your ranking all the colors in order of preference? They are really quite accurate, imho.

Yeah, the right color and web design will leave “impression” on visitors and make them stay for longer in the site.

Moreover, contrasting color between page background and ads will definitely make the ads more noticeable.
